Institutional Strategic Plan for Global Engagement

Our office has developed a strategic plan that will define our priorities and goals over the next several years. Cross-functional sub-committees have identified opportunities, challenges, and subsequent recommendations within four major areas of focus:

International Partnerships and Engagement
Global Education and Mobility Pathway
International Diversity and Campus Climate
Global Profile and Reputation

This initiative aligns with a more comprehensive strategic planning process, which will guide the future path of our entire university.

Focus Groups

Focus group sessions took place throughout 2022-2023.

Call to Action

READ the position papers and become aware of the important work being undertaken.
OFFER your feedback.
SHARE this strategic planning process with your colleagues so they too may participate.
SUPPORT the plan by being an active ambassador, touting university-wide value-adds.

What’s In It For Me?

None of this work will happen in a vacuum. With obvious interdependencies, many of the recommendations being brought forward could impact departments beyond Global Engagement, including yours. Obtaining broad-based support will be crucial to ensuring our final plan can be fully achievable.

Acknowledgments

The Office for Global Engagement would like to acknowledge everyone who has contributed to this cross-functional effort, through our over-arching project committee and/or sub-committee work.
